Lagos Island is linked to the mainland through three large bridges which cross the Lagos Lagoon to the city of Ebute Metta. It is also connected to the nighbouring island of Ikoyi and the Victoria Islands.

Ikoyi is most affluent area of the Lagos. It is the most expensive residential area as well in the Nigeria.

The Victoria Island is the richest towns of the Nigeria and the main business and the financial hub of the Nigeria. The embassies and counsolates of a number of countries like Russia, Germany, USA, Bulgaria and the Great Britian are located here. The island has continued to develop like the Ikoyi and is the favourite place among the local nationals and the foreigners to live.
